DO I MOVE YOU?
A photographic exploration of bodies, movement and the feeling of belonging to one's self.
Getting in front of a camera is often a very vulnerable experience, even for people who love the spotlight. This mini-series is one of the most vulnerable photographic spaces I have ever shared with my co-creators, the people who give me the gift of their time, figure and stories. At the beginning of each individual session, I asked my subjects what it meant to be in the presence of themselves: I wanted to find a way to reflect their experiences in their own skin, what it meant to hold one's self.
This series was a way to interpret the feelings and stories we share through visual art.

Hold me.

Look at me.

Reaching out.

Con presión.

Don't let me go.

Don't look away.

Stay close.

Holding tight.

Look up.

Desde la punta.

If I knew.

I must hold on.

If only.

Give me support.

Directly.
